Must Have Skills:

– Overall 5 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Service Now platform as a tester, especially in Service Now ATF.

– experience with Service Now Automated Testing Framework.

– experience with Agile software development.

– experience with manual testing and automation testing.

Good to Have :

-Service Now Application Developer certification a plus.

Primary responsibilities:

– Review and interpret functional and technical requirements.

– Create and maintain test scenarios/Scripts for manual and automation testing.

– Perform functional and regression testing, defect tracking from discovery to resolution.

– Clearly communicate issues/defects to appropriate resources in a timely manner.

– Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.

– Work with the project team to help plan and estimate test activities for all test phases.

– Create training documentation and materials requirements.

experience Preferred:

– experience with Service Now Automated Testing Framework.

– experience with Agile software development.

– experience with manual testing and automation testing.

– 2 + Years of QA/Testing experience

– experience with multiple major version upgrades and system patches; explain the common upgrade issues caused by custom development.

– Authoring and maintaining technical documentation.

– Use analytical skills to investigate issues, find solutions to problems, and improve processes.

– Utilize an Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor\’s degree required with 2 + years of relevant experience.

– Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the Service Now platform as a tester, especially in Service Now ATF.

– Service Now experience should include scripting in Service Now, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration and deployment. Specifically, candidates shall possess in-depth knowledge of the technical implementation and the skills to develop on the Service Now platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset Management, New Call, On Call and Service Catalog.

– experience implementing ITSM best practice processes and procedures in an enterprise environment.

– Service Now Application Developer certification a plus.

– Strong technical and platform knowledge with hands-on experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting application issues.
